So I never found my cell phone charger. I decided it was time to do some begging and so I knocked on the doors of some of my friendly neighbours to see if I could gain access to a phone. I felt many eyeballs sizing me up through peepholes, but no doors opened. I guess I should have gotten to know the people in my building a bit better.. and also I should have taken a shower and changed my shirt that I have been wearing for 2 days now. So I walked up the street, looking for a payphone. Then I looked at my watch, and started jogging. No payphones in sight. Finally I started running. Desperate, I figured that maybe if I bought something, the kind man at that convenience store at the next intersection would allow me use his phone. Strangely, just then a man who looked quite a bit like my brother walked into the convenience store. I squinted my eyes a little.. It was my brother. I just walked up to him in the store and stared at him with my jaw hanging open slightly. I'm sure I looked very attractive. He seemed surprised to see me and said "Hey! Woah.. you look like you just ran a marathon! You know you shouldn't run on a hot day like this". I calmly told him that it was my moving day and I had been waiting for him in my apartment since 10 that morning. "OOOOOooooohhh. That was today? Wait, are you SURE about that? I thought you said next week" Must. Remain. Calm. After all, I needed a ride back home. It was hot out there! Lennie
